Hawks Cay and The Greater Marathon Chamber of Commerce, with support from the Monroe County Tourist Development Council, are now accepting volunteer requests for the second annual Conchtoberfest. The family-friendly festival allows guests to explore and discover local artistic and culinary specialties plus enjoy ten unique beers on tap, September 30 – October 2. Volunteers are encouraged to sign up early to receive preferred shifts. Volunteers will receive free admission to the event on the day of their shift, one Conchtoberfest t-shirt and one free beer. A daily resort fee of $29 includes gratuities for guest services, valet, bell stand and housekeeping associates; wireless Internet access throughout the Resort; transportation throughout the Resort; self and valet parking; access to Indies Club and Calm Waters Fitness Center; local and toll free phone calls; and additional seasonal inclusions.
