Please note that rental scuba diving gear is included in all courses at no additional charge. We believe that you should use our equipment in a practical setting before you choose the scuba gear that will work best for you.

Dive Experience $125
Enjoy a top-level introduction to the exciting world of scuba diving off the Florida Keys. The Dive Experience allows Hawks Cay Resort guests to wear and get acquainted with full scuba dive gear in the resort’s heated pool. This is a fun activity for the entire family, even if you choose not to pursue open-ocean training afterward.Resort Course $225
Learn to scuba dive in just one day! The resort course lets you explore the diverse Florida Keys coral reef and underwater ecosystem as you make two dives (one boat trip) with a certified scuba diving instructor. The resort course can be completed in one or two days and includes classroom and pool training.Available to eligible guests 10 years and older upon completion of a medical history form. The resort course does not offer scuba diving certification.
Refresher Course $225
Has it been more than two years since your last scuba dive? Before you set out on your next underwater adventure, Dive Duck Key requires that you reacquaint yourself with scuba gear and dive procedures by taking this refresher course. This course will help make your Florida Keys dive safer and help you maximize your time in the water.Course includes all rental gear, classroom and pool instruction, and two-tank dive trip aboard the Seafari.
Open Water Certification $525
Become a certified scuba diver while you vacation in the Florida Keys!Open Water Certification can be completed in just four days (two full days and two half-days), provided that the academic work is completed prior to arrival. Open Water Certification consists of three half-day pool sessions, one half-day lecture and test session, and two half-day boat trips to be completed on two separate days.
All Duck Key Dive instructors are licensed in PADI and NAUI certification, and once your certification is complete you will be able to dive anywhere in the world.
Price includes all books, boat trips, rental gear and registration.
Open Water Check-Out Dives $350
Let Dive Duck Key complete your scuba diving certification during your vacation in the Florida Keys!Just bring your referral paperwork, verifying that you’ve finished the pool and classroom portions of your open water training, and we’ll take you to the reef to complete your open water certification.
Course consists of two half-day courses. Price is all-inclusive.
Advanced Certification $475
Discover a whole new realm of diving opportunities in the Florida Keys!The Advanced Certification course enhances your Open Water Certification by covering scuba diving review, navigation, deep diving, night diving and two electives of your choice.
Course consists of three half-day trips. Price is all-inclusive.
Nitrox Certification $299
Are you tired after a day of scuba diving?Learn how to increase your stamina and safety by decreasing your nitrogen absorption during your Florida Keys vacation. Nitrox allows divers to increase oxygen intake and decrease fatigue. Nitrox is not for deep divers, however all divers can benefit from taking this class.
Course consists of one full-day and one half-day lecture, followed by one boat trip. Price is all-inclusive.
Rescue Certification $475
Rescue Certification is ideal for scuba divers pursuing their masterdiver/divemaster certifications. To complete your Rescue Certification, divers must be certified in CPR. Dive Duck Key does offer CPR certification, but it is not included in this course.Course consists of one half-day pool session, one half-day confined water session, one boat session, and one lecture/test session. Price is all-inclusive.
