Hello, I’m Captain Jim Perry and I operate Eagle Eye Charters out of the world-renowned Hawks Cay Resort.
I firmly believe in providing you and your group with a fun, relaxing and memorable day of rod-bending action in the tropical blue waters of the Florida Keys. I thoroughly enjoy fishing with children and families, as well as advanced anglers, and I will tailor your trip for the style(s) of fishing you wish to enjoy.
From traveling offshore to pursue big game fish to staying close to land and spending a pleasant afternoon fishing the calm waters that surround Hawks Cay, I will do everything in my power to ensure that you have the time of your life.

About the Captain
Born and raised in Marathon, Florida it was only natural that I would take up fishing at an early age.
When I was seven, I would spend mornings on the water yellowtailing with my grandfather, and it was then that my love for the sport blossomed.
Decades later, and after more than 25 years of invaluable Florida Keys charter fishing experience, my passion for fishing is as strong as ever.
I fish for a variety of different species aboard the Eagle Eye, both deep sea and inshore While I love deep dropping on local wrecks, my favorite fish to target is still yellowtail snapper.
I feel privileged to have an opportunity to provide anglers with a first-class Florida Keys charter fishing experience, and I look forward to helping your group catch fish and have fun.
My specialty is fishing with children. I enjoy helping teach youngsters the proper techniques to reel in the big ones, and I am always happy to offer advice or answer any questions you or your kids may have.
I realize that fishing expectations differ between skill levels, and I will cater your trip to try and meet those expectations.
