Q: Goodevening Captain Jim I booked a trip on the Eagle Eye for April 22 2010 as 1/2 day reef. Is this the best option for us. We are a experienced crew and are looking to get into some fish. This is our first trip to the keys. FISH ON !!! Mark

A: I love to fish with experienced anglers. There are three of you, correct? We'll catch fish, it's what we do.

Hanson Summersgill asked :Jimmy Perry

Q: Hey Jimmy, I didn't know you knew how to use a computer. Does Hulk Hogan know you stole his photo?

A: Very Funny ;-). And you're right, I'm terrible on a computer. But my fishing skills are exemplary.

Kimberly Valentine asked :Fishing in April

Q: Hello Capt. Jim, I will be staying at Hawks Cay April 6th - 10th with 7 others (4 adults, 4 children ages 10, 12, 14, 15). We are going to charter a fishing trip, but are unsure how to proceed. If need be, we can get our numbers down, as I know my youngest would rather bubble watch than fish. We live in Virginia Beach and have done a little off shore fishing as well as fishing for rock, and croaker. My husband and I have chartered boats in Key West and Bahamas with very little success so as you can imagine, we want to make sure we make the right decision this time. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Kimberly kvalentine@vedinc.net

A: Kimberly, Mahi fishing, tarpon fishing and wreck fishing are all very productive in April. All charter boats at the marina are limited to six guests. If you have more questions I would be happy to answer them for you. Please call me at 305-684-8650. Thank you,

Nick asked :Marlin and Swordfish

Q: How is the Marlin and Swordfish fishing around spring break time?

A: The swordfishing is good in the spring. The Marlin fishing is average as the water has started to warm up. Give me a call and we talk about a trip and I can answer any other fishing questions you might have. Thanks!
