In between cold fronts I have had to fish oceanside to find warmer waters. And the action has been great. This past Monday my anglers found some large Mangrove Snappers to 5 lbs. Good action on light tackle, and great table fare. We also caught nice grouper, but released all of them because our grouper season is closed.
And again today it was flat calm and the reef was active. Spanish Mackerel to 6 lbs and nice yellowtail snapper bit well. The weather has been cool and calm, which makes for a beautiful trip to the reef.
