Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

Dedicated to Improving the Life-Saving Capabilities of Emergency Services

Firehouse SubsHawks Cay Resort and Firehouse Subs, a fast-casual restaurant with over 400 locations, have joined forces for this year’s Heroes Welcome.  Hawks Cay will donate a portion of the proceeds of the Heroes Welcome to Firehouse Subs’ primary charity, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, as part of the partnership. Last year, Hawks Cay was thrilled to make a donation of $15000 to the Foundation.

During the Heroes Welcome, everyone can support the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and plan your vacation to the Florida Keys. Hawks Cay is extending a special 20% off our best available rate to everyone if a donation of $1 or more is made to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

Launched in 2005 by Firehouse Subs founders Chris and Robin Sorensen, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation was created to extend the Firehouse Subs mission to give back to the community from where the founders started, in the firehouse.

In many communities, the emergency service programs do not have all the tools they need to effectively protect the people of those communities. Many communities have only a volunteer fire department that has to raise their own funds to provide life-saving equipment. This task is a very difficult undertaking for these organizations. The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation was created to ease the burden of fire departments, law enforcement and other emergency service entities.

The duty of a public safety officer is to serve and protect. As a 501 (c) (3) organization, the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation's mission is dedicated to improving the life-saving capabilities of emergency service entities in communities served by Firehouse Subs by providing funding, resources and support.
