I was walking down the dock this morning and one of the fishing guys asked, “How’s it going?” “Living the dream,” I answered. And, on days like this, I go back to my days at the UW Madison, walking to class in 7 degree weather with the wind threatening to blow me back down Baskum hill, dreaming about some place warmer. Definitely feeling like a dream today with our 82 degree weather. There are a very few clouds out this morning, just enough to make tonight’s sunset cruise colorful. The wind is cooperating too, with a light breeze from the north. Perfect for my day of parasailing, but not so great for the kiteboarders who are looking forward to days when the isobars are a little tighter. They’ll have their day soon enough. Until then, I’ll enjoy this one.
